On the Birth Anniversary of GURUNANAKJI, Agrasen Vidya Mandir Pre-primary kids celebrated this auspicious day by visiting the Gurudwara situated at Sindhi Colony. A holly place that is famous for its architectural grandeur and for spreading the message of Peace & Harmony. During the visit, children offered prayers to seek the blessings of the almighty. They also learned a process of entering a Gurudwara wherein they covered their heads and washed their hands and feet before they sat down to listen to the Kirtan. The visit also aimed at making the children understand the importance of community eating. All the children had Prasad & Sweets together in the Langar Hall. It was fascinating for the children to know about the concept of Langar where all the people regardless of race, religion, caste, or creed enjoyed their meal together. They also learned about "Seva" selfless service which is done by all the community people irrespective to the job and position they held. Moreover, Children got acquainted with the rituals of the festival. Overall It was an enriching experience for the children as they learned about the Sikh Gurus and their contribution to society at large.
